Cord, or cordoroy, is a cotton fabric with twisted fibres made to give it it's discinct ridge pattern. This cord has been mixed with spandex to make it stretchy.
This cord is 14 wale, which means that there are 14 ridges within each inch. Cords like this are sometimes caled needlecord.
This fabric is great for trousers, jackets and shirts.
In Europe, this can also be known under the name Manchester Cloth
